Brian Forsha
Drums / Back Up Vocals
It’s been said that some children have a face in which only a mother could love. In the same respect, children who are drummers can only be understood by parents who are musicians, themselves. As a parent, Brian’s father made two important purchases when Brian turned eleven. The first was Brian’s own complete drum kit. The second was a heavy duty set of ear protection.
Brian, a self-taught drummer was in his first group by the time he was only thirteen. By the time he was seventeen, he made the decision to tour the east coast with the band Storm, followed by the band Sky, Brian Smith and the Contenders, Trip Show, Rareform, and many more, upon countless stages, living the dream. During his career, he has been a guest for the WDVE Coffee House, and played for the Poison after party at the Hard Rock Café.
Most recently, he has performed in the Great Hall prior to the Steelers football games with the band Glitz, whom he also played with at the Winter Classic when it was held in Pittsburgh, PA. With Glitz, he also did the WDVE Hairband Idol, where he shared the stage with Reb Beach and Mark Slaughter. He also opened for the bad boy David Allen Coe on the Pepsi Cola Roadhouse Stage with Lumber-N-Steel. Lumber-N-Steel also was fortunate enough to be one of the only local bands to headline a Christmas show of their own on the stage at the Pepsi-Cola Roadhouse.
Brian owns his own cleaning business, and is an avid outdoorsman. His “bucklist” includes a dream of hunting with, and learning from the one-and-only Ted Nugent. He spends much of his spare time cruising on his motorcycle, and hanging out with his family and friends.
